Isaiah 24:4-6
New American Standard Bible
4 The (A)earth dries up and crumbles away, the mainland dries out and crumbles away, the (B)exalted of the people of the earth dwindle. 5 The earth is also (C)defiled [a]by its inhabitants, for they violated laws, altered statutes, and (D)broke the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore, a (E)curse devours the earth, and those who live on it suffer for their guilt. Therefore, the (F)inhabitants of the earth decrease in number, and few people are left.

Lamentations 2:6-7
New American Standard Bible
6 And He has treated His [a]tabernacle violently, like a despised garden;
He has (A)destroyed His appointed [b]meeting place.
The Lord has (B)caused
The appointed feast and Sabbath in Zion to be forgotten,
And He has (C)despised king and priest
In the indignation of His anger.
7 The Lord has (D)rejected His altar,
He has [c]repudiated His sanctuary;
He (E)has handed over
The walls of her palaces to the enemy.
They have made a (F)noise in the house of the Lord
As on the day of an appointed feast.
