¹⁷ They shall be turned back and utterly put to shame—
    those who trust in carved images,
who say to cast images,
    “You are our gods.”^(A)

²⁵ Do not go out into the field
    or walk on the road,
for the enemy has a sword;
    terror is on every side.”^(A)

²⁹ They take their tents and their flocks,
    their curtains and all their goods;
they carry off their camels for themselves,
    and a cry shall go up: “Terror is all around!”^(A)
