25 But this is what the Lord says:
“He will seize[a] even the warriors’ plunder,[b]
and the captives[c] of tyrants will be rescued.
I myself will quarrel with those who have a quarrel with you,[d]
and I myself will save your children.
26 “I’ll make those who mistreat you[e] eat their own flesh,
and they will get drunk on their own blood, as with new wine.
“Then all mankind will know that I am the Lord
your Savior and your Redeemer,
the Mighty One of Jacob.”

I will contend with those who contend with you,(D)
and your children I will save.(E)
26 I will make your oppressors(F) eat(G) their own flesh;
they will be drunk on their own blood,(H) as with wine.
Then all mankind will know(I)
that I, the Lord, am your Savior,(J)
your Redeemer,(K) the Mighty One of Jacob.(L)”
