Isaiah 53:8-10
New American Standard Bible
8 By oppression and judgment He was taken away;
And as for His generation, who considered
That He was cut off from the land of the [a]living
(A)For the wrongdoing of my people, to whom the blow was due?
9 And His grave was assigned with wicked men,
Yet He was with a (B)rich man in His death,
(C)Because He had (D)done no violence,
Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.
10 But the Lord desired
To (E)crush Him, [b](F)causing Him grief;
If He renders [c]Himself as a guilt (G)offering,
He will see (H)His [d]offspring,
He will prolong His days,
And the [e]good (I)pleasure of the Lord will prosper in His hand.
