⁴⁵ It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’^[a](A) Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.

²⁷ As for you, the anointing^(A) you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things^(B) and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.^(C)
