Keeping the Sabbath
13 “If because of the sabbath, you (A)turn your foot
From doing your own desire on My holy day,
And call the sabbath a (B)delight, the holy day of Yahweh honorable,
And honor it, by not doing your (C)own ways,
By not finding your own desire
And (D)speaking your own word,
14 Then you will take (E)delight in Yahweh,
And I will make you ride (F)on the heights of the earth;
And I will feed you with the inheritance of Jacob your father,
For the (G)mouth of Yahweh has spoken.”

13 “If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath(A)
and from doing as you please on my holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a delight(B)
and the Lord’s holy day honorable,
and if you honor it by not going your own way
and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,(C)
14 then you will find your joy(D) in the Lord,
and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights(E) of the land
and to feast on the inheritance(F) of your father Jacob.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.(G)
