Isaiah 7:12-14
Common English Bible
12 But Ahaz said, “I won’t ask; I won’t test the Lord.”
13 Then Isaiah said, “Listen, house of David! Isn’t it enough for you to be tiresome for people that you are also tiresome before my God? 14 Therefore, the Lord will give you a sign. The young woman is pregnant and is about to give birth to a son, and she will name him Immanuel.[a]

New International Version
12 But Ahaz said, “I will not ask; I will not put the Lord to the test.(A)”
13 Then Isaiah said, “Hear now, you house of David!(B) Is it not enough(C) to try the patience of humans? Will you try the patience(D) of my God(E) also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you[a] a sign:(F) The virgin[b](G) will conceive and give birth to a son,(H) and[c] will call him Immanuel.[d](I)
