³ because you know that the testing of your faith^(A) produces perseverance.^{(B) 4} Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature^(C) and complete, not lacking anything. ⁵ If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God,^(D) who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.^(E)

³² Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined^(A) so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.^(B)
