³² Gideon son of Joash died at a good old age^(A) and was buried in the tomb of his father Joash in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

³² They took Asahel and buried him in his father’s tomb^(A) at Bethlehem. Then Joab and his men marched all night and arrived at Hebron by daybreak.

²³ When Ahithophel saw that his advice^(A) had not been followed, he saddled his donkey and set out for his house in his hometown. He put his house in order^(B) and then hanged himself. So he died and was buried in his father’s tomb.
