Jeremiah 1:6

⁶Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

Jeremiah 1:6

New International Version

⁶“Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak;^(A) I am too young.”^(B)

⁶Then said I:

^(A)“Ah, Lord God!
Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.”

⁷But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

⁷But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.

⁷But the Lord said to me:

“Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’
For you shall go to all to whom I send you,
And ^(A)whatever I command you, you shall speak.
