¹⁴Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people.

¹⁴sent and had Jeremiah taken out of the courtyard of the guard.^(A) They turned him over to Gedaliah^(B) son of Ahikam,^(C) the son of Shaphan,^(D) to take him back to his home. So he remained among his own people.^(E)
