11 (A)This entire land will be a place of ruins and an object of horror, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon for (B)seventy years.

Babylon Will Be Judged

12 ‘Then it will be (C)when seventy years are completed I will (D)punish the king of Babylon and that nation,’ declares the Lord, ‘for their wrongdoing, and the land of the Chaldeans; and (E)I will make it an everlasting desolation. 13 I will bring upon that land all My words which I have pronounced against it, all that is written in (F)this book which Jeremiah has prophesied against (G)all the nations.

12 “But when the seventy years(D) are fulfilled, I will punish the king of Babylon(E) and his nation, the land of the Babylonians,[a] for their guilt,” declares the Lord, “and will make it desolate(F) forever. 13 I will bring on that land all the things I have spoken against it, all that are written(G) in this book and prophesied by Jeremiah against all the nations.
