18 I will pursue them with the sword, famine and pestilence, and will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth—a curse and an astonishment, a hissing and a disgrace—among all the nations where I have driven them, 19 because they have not listened to My words,” declares Adonai, “which I sent to them by My servants the prophets, sending them early and often, but you would not hear.” It is a declaration of Adonai.

20 “But you, hear the word of Adonai, all you of the exile whom I have sent from Jerusalem to Babylon,”

18 I will pursue them with the sword, famine and plague and will make them abhorrent(A) to all the kingdoms of the earth, a curse[a](B) and an object of horror,(C) of scorn(D) and reproach, among all the nations where I drive them. 19 For they have not listened to my words,”(E) declares the Lord, “words that I sent to them again and again(F) by my servants the prophets.(G) And you exiles have not listened either,” declares the Lord.

20 Therefore, hear the word of the Lord, all you exiles whom I have sent(H) away from Jerusalem to Babylon.
