19 Then I continued, “The Lord has told you people who are left in Judah not to go to Egypt. And so I warn you now 20 that you are making a fatal mistake. You asked me to pray to the Lord our God for you, and you promised that you would do everything that he commands. 21 And now I have told you, but you are disobeying everything that the Lord our God sent me to tell you.

19 “Remnant(A) of Judah, the Lord has told you, ‘Do not go to Egypt.’(B) Be sure of this: I warn you today 20 that you made a fatal mistake when you sent me to the Lord your God and said, ‘Pray to the Lord our God for us; tell us everything he says and we will do it.’(C) 21 I have told you today, but you still have not obeyed the Lord your God in all he sent me to tell you.(D)
