³⁰ This is what the Lord says: ‘I am going to deliver Pharaoh^(A) Hophra king of Egypt into the hands of his enemies who want to kill him, just as I gave Zedekiah^(B) king of Judah into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, the enemy who wanted to kill him.’”^(C)

¹¹ The foot of neither man nor beast will pass through it; no one will live there for forty years.^{(A) 12} I will make the land of Egypt desolate^(B) among devastated lands, and her cities will lie desolate forty years among ruined cities. And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them through the countries.^(C)
