English Standard Version
31 (A)“Rise up, advance against a nation (B)at ease,
(C)that dwells securely,
declares the Lord,
(D)that has no gates or bars,
that dwells alone.
32 (E)Their camels shall become plunder,
their herds of livestock a spoil.
(F)I will scatter to every wind
(G)those who cut the corners of their hair,
and I will bring their calamity
from every side of them,
declares the Lord.
33 Hazor shall become (H)a haunt of jackals,
an everlasting waste;
(I)no man shall dwell there;
(J)no man shall sojourn in her.”
Jeremiah 49:31-33

its people live far from danger.
32 Their camels(B) will become plunder,
and their large herds(C) will be spoils of war.
I will scatter to the winds(D) those who are in distant places[a](E)
and will bring disaster on them from every side,”
declares the Lord.
33 “Hazor(F) will become a haunt of jackals,(G)
