¹³If I wait, the grave is mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness.

¹³If I wait for the grave as my house,
If I make my bed in the darkness,

¹⁶Will it go down to the gates of death?^(A)
Will we descend together into the dust?”^(B)

¹⁶They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust.

¹⁶Will they go down ^(A)to the gates of ^[a]Sheol?
Shall we have ^(B)rest together in the dust?”
