¹³ therefore this is what the Lord God says: “I will also ^(A)reach out with My hand against Edom and ^(B)eliminate human and animal life from it. And I will turn it into ruins; from ^(C)Teman even to ^(D)Dedan they will fall by the sword.

¹² to ^(A)capture spoils and to seize plunder, to turn your hand against the ruins that are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who live at the ^[a]center of the world.’
