32 Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and remain in the heap.

33 The [a]slimy valley shall be sweet unto him, and every man shall draw after him, as before him there were innumerable.

34 How then comfort [b]ye me in vain, seeing in your answer there remain but lies?

    and a countless throng goes[a] before them.(C)

34 “So how can you console me(D) with your nonsense?
    Nothing is left of your answers but falsehood!”(E)
