Job 22:6-11
English Standard Version
6 For you have (A)exacted pledges of your brothers for nothing
(B)and stripped the naked of their clothing.
7 You have given no water to the weary to drink,
and you have (C)withheld bread from the hungry.
8 (D)The man with power possessed the land,
and (E)the favored man lived in it.
9 You have (F)sent widows away empty,
and (G)the arms of (H)the fatherless were crushed.
10 Therefore (I)snares are all around you,
and sudden terror overwhelms you,
11 or (J)darkness, so that you cannot see,
and a (K)flood of (L)water covers you.

an honored man,(G) living on it.(H)
9 And you sent widows(I) away empty-handed(J)
and broke the strength of the fatherless.(K)
10 That is why snares(L) are all around you,(M)
why sudden peril terrifies you,(N)
11 why it is so dark(O) you cannot see,
and why a flood of water covers you.(P)
