⁹As a cloud vanishes^(A) and is gone,
so one who goes down to the grave^(B) does not return.^(C)

⁹As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more.

²²I have swept away^(A) your offenses like a cloud,
your sins like the morning mist.
Return^(B) to me,
for I have redeemed^(C) you.”
