⁴¹ So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up^(A) and said, “Father,^(B) I thank you that you have heard me.

²⁸ Father, glorify your name!”

Then a voice came from heaven,^(A) “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.”

Jesus Prays to Be Glorified

17 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven^(A) and prayed:

³⁴ Jesus said, “Father,^(A) forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”^[a](B) And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.^(C)
