¹³ When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover,^(B) Jesus went up to Jerusalem.^(C)

²³ Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival,^(A) many people saw the signs^(B) he was performing and believed^(C) in his name.^[a]

²² Then came the Festival of Dedication^[a] at Jerusalem. It was winter,

⁵⁵ When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover,^(A) many went up from the country to Jerusalem for their ceremonial cleansing^(B) before the Passover.

13 It was just before the Passover Festival.^(A) Jesus knew that the hour had come^(B) for him to leave this world and go to the Father.^(C) Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

³⁹ But it is your custom for me to release to you one prisoner at the time of the Passover. Do you want me to release ‘the king of the Jews’?”

¹⁴ It was the day of Preparation^(A) of the Passover; it was about noon.^(B)

“Here is your king,”^(C) Pilate said to the Jews.
