John 12:49

⁴⁹For ^(A)I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father ^(B)who sent me has himself given me ^(C)a commandment—what to say and what to speak.

John 12:49

New International Version

⁴⁹For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me^(A) to say all that I have spoken.

⁵⁰And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me.”

⁵⁰I know that his command leads to eternal life.^(A) So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.”^(B)
