¹⁶ And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another ^(A)Helper,^[a] to be with you forever,

¹⁷ even ^(A)the Spirit of truth, ^(B)whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and ^(C)will be^[a] in you.

⁹ I am praying for them. ^(A)I am not praying for the world but for those ^(B)whom you have given me, for ^(C)they are yours.

¹⁵ I ^(A)do not ask that you ^(B)take them out of the world, but that you ^(C)keep them from ^(D)the evil one.^[a]

^17 (A)Sanctify them^[a] in the truth; ^(B)your word is truth.
