John 19:26-28

26 Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near. He said to his mother, `Woman, see your son!'
27 And he said to the disciple, `See your mother!' From that time on, that disciple took her to live in his own home.
28 Jesus now knew that everything had happened that the holy writings said. He said, `I am thirsty.'

New International Version
26 When Jesus saw his mother(A) there, and the disciple whom he loved(B) standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman,[a] here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

28 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished,(D) and so that Scripture would be fulfilled,(E) Jesus said, “I am thirsty.”
