John 2:22-24

22 When Jesus was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this. Then they believed the Scripture and what Jesus had said.
23 While he was in Jerusalem for the Passover Festival, many believed in his name as they observed the miraculous signs he was doing. 24 But Jesus, on his part, was not entrusting himself to them, because he knew them all.

New International Version
22 After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said.(A) Then they believed the scripture(B) and the words that Jesus had spoken.
23 Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival,(C) many people saw the signs(D) he was performing and believed(E) in his name.[a] 24 But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people.
