John 21:23-25
Legacy Standard Bible
23 Therefore this saying went out among (A)the brothers that this disciple would not die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but only, “If I want him to remain (B)until I come, what is that to you?”
24 This is the disciple who (C)is bearing witness to these things and wrote these things, and we know that his witness is true.
25 And there are also (D)many other things which Jesus did, which if they *were written one after the other, I suppose that even the world itself *could not contain the books that *would be written.

John 21:23-25
New International Version
23 Because of this, the rumor spread among the believers(A) that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?”
24 This is the disciple who testifies to these things(B) and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true.(C)
25 Jesus did many other things as well.(D) If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.
