John 6:61-63

61 But Jesus knowing in himself, that his disciples murmured at this, said unto them, Doth this offend you?
62 What then if ye should see that Son of man ascend up (A)where he was before?
63 [a]It is the [b]spirit that quickeneth: the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, are spirit and life.

61 Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you?(A) 62 Then what if you see the Son of Man(B) ascend to where he was before!(C) 63 The Spirit gives life;(D) the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit[a] and life.
