20 The crowd answered, “You have a demon [You are out of Your mind]! Who wants to kill You?” 21 Jesus replied, “I did one [a]work, and you are all astounded.(A) 22 For this reason Moses has given you [God’s law regarding] circumcision (not that it originated with Moses, but with the patriarchs) and you circumcise a man [even] on the Sabbath.

21 Jesus said to them, “I did one miracle,(B) and you are all amazed. 22 Yet, because Moses gave you circumcision(C) (though actually it did not come from Moses, but from the patriarchs),(D) you circumcise a boy on the Sabbath.
