John 8:40-42
New Matthew Bible
40 But now you are going about to kill me, a man who has told you the truth, which I have heard from God. This Abraham did not do. 41 You do the deeds of your father.
Then they said to him, We were not born of fornication. We have one Father, who is God.
42 Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, then you would love me. For I proceeded forth and come from God. Neither did I come of myself, but he sent me.

40 As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me,(A) a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God.(B) Abraham did not do such things. 41 You are doing the works of your own father.”(C)
“We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”(D)
42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me,(E) for I have come here from God.(F) I have not come on my own;(G) God sent me.(H)
