⁴But ^(A)the Lord ^[a]sent out a great wind on the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship was about to be broken up.

⁴Then the Lord sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up.^(A)

¹⁷Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And ^(A)Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

¹⁷Now the Lord provided^(A) a huge fish to swallow Jonah,^(B) and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
