¹²And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the Lord.

¹²Joshua got up early the next morning and the priests took up the ark of the Lord.

¹⁶So Joshua rose up early in the morning, and brought Israel by their tribes; and the tribe of Judah was taken:

¹⁶Early the next morning Joshua had Israel come forward by tribes, and Judah was chosen.

¹⁰And Joshua rose up early in the morning, and numbered the people, and went up, he and the elders of Israel, before the people to Ai.

¹⁰Early the next morning^(A) Joshua mustered his army, and he and the leaders of Israel^(B) marched before them to Ai.
