¹²And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.

¹²When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you,^(A) mighty warrior.^(B)”

¹⁴And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?

¹⁴The Lord turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have^(A) and save^(B) Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”
