New International Version

²¹Putting their little children, their livestock and their possessions in front of them, they turned away and left.

²²Then David left the ^(A)baggage in the ^[a]care of the baggage keeper and ran to the battle line. And he entered and ^[b]greeted his brothers.

²²David left his things with the keeper of supplies,^(A) ran to the battle lines and asked his brothers how they were.
