when the people freely offer themselves, bless the Lord!

Judges 5:1 Like much poetry, the Song of Deborah is cryptic and allusive. There are many difficulties of translation.
Judges 5:2 Or when the flowing locks in Israel flowed. The meaning of this line is uncertain. Flowing locks may refer to dedicated Nazarites or to fierce warriors.
