³ “Hear this, you kings! Listen, you rulers!
    I, even I, will sing to^[a] the Lord;^(A)
    I will praise the Lord, the God of Israel, in song.^(B)

⁶ Yet some gleanings will remain,^(A)
    as when an olive tree is beaten,^(B)
leaving two or three olives on the topmost branches,
    four or five on the fruitful boughs,”
