Leviticus 2:12-14
Good News Translation
12 An offering of the first grain that you harvest each year shall be brought to the Lord, but it is not to be burned on the altar. 13 Put salt on every grain offering, because salt represents the covenant between you and God. (You must put salt on all your offerings.) 14 When you bring to the Lord an offering of the first grain harvested, offer roasted grain or ground meal.

12 You may bring them to the Lord as an offering of the firstfruits,(A) but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma. 13 Season all your grain offerings with salt.(B) Do not leave the salt of the covenant(C) of your God out of your grain offerings; add salt to all your offerings.
14 “‘If you bring a grain offering of firstfruits(D) to the Lord, offer crushed heads of new grain roasted in the fire.
