Leviticus 2:12-14

12 As an offering of the choicest portion, you[a] may bring them to Yahweh, but they must not be offered on the altar as an appeasing fragrance. 13 Also all[b] of your grain offerings you must season with salt; you[c] must not omit the salt of your God’s covenant from your offering.
14 “‘And if you bring to Yahweh a grain offering of firstfruits, you must bring an ear of new grain roasted by fire, coarsely crushed ripe grain, as the grain offering of your firstfruits.

12 You may bring them to the Lord as an offering of the firstfruits,(A) but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma. 13 Season all your grain offerings with salt.(B) Do not leave the salt of the covenant(C) of your God out of your grain offerings; add salt to all your offerings.
14 “‘If you bring a grain offering of firstfruits(D) to the Lord, offer crushed heads of new grain roasted in the fire.
