Grain Offerings
2 “When anyone presents a grain offering to the Lord, the offering shall be of choice flour; the worshiper shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it(A) 2 and bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests. After taking from it a handful of the choice flour and oil, with all its frankincense, the priest shall turn this token portion into smoke on the altar, an offering by fire[a] of pleasing odor to the Lord.(B) 3 And what is left of the grain offering shall be for Aaron and his sons, a most holy part of the offerings by fire[b] to the Lord.(C)
4 “When you present a grain offering baked in the oven, it shall be of choice flour: unleavened cakes mixed with oil or unleavened wafers spread with oil. 5 If your offering is grain prepared on a griddle, it shall be of choice flour mixed with oil, unleavened; 6 break it in pieces and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering. 7 If your offering is grain prepared in a pan, it shall be made of choice flour in oil. 8 You shall bring to the Lord the grain offering that is prepared in any of these ways, and when it is presented to the priest, he shall take it to the altar. 9 The priest shall remove from the grain offering its token portion and turn this into smoke on the altar, an offering by fire[c] of pleasing odor to the Lord.(D) 10 And what is left of the grain offering shall be for Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offerings by fire[d] to the Lord.(E)
11 “No grain offering that you bring to the Lord shall be made with leaven, for you must not turn any leaven or honey into smoke as an offering by fire[e] to the Lord.(F) 12 You may bring them to the Lord as an offering of choice products, but they shall not be offered on the altar for a pleasing odor.(G) 13 All your grain offerings you shall season with salt; you shall not omit from your grain offerings the salt of the covenant with your God; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.(H)
14 “If you bring a grain offering of first fruits to the Lord, you shall bring as the grain offering of your first fruits crushed new grain from fresh ears, roasted in fire.(I) 15 You shall add oil to it and lay frankincense on it; it is a grain offering. 16 And the priest shall turn a token portion of it into smoke—some of the crushed grain and oil with all its frankincense; it is an offering by fire[f] to the Lord.(J)
Offerings of Well-Being
3 “If the offering is a sacrifice of well-being, if you offer an animal from the herd, whether male or female, you shall offer one without blemish before the Lord.(K) 2 You shall lay your hand on the head of the offering and slaughter it at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall dash the blood against all sides of the altar.(L) 3 You shall offer from the sacrifice of well-being, as an offering by fire[g] to the Lord, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is around the entrails,(M) 4 the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the appendage of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys. 5 Then Aaron’s sons shall turn these into smoke on the altar, with the burnt offering that is on the wood on the fire, as an offering by fire[h] of pleasing odor to the Lord.(N)
6 “If your offering for a sacrifice of well-being to the Lord is from the flock, male or female, you shall offer one without blemish.(O) 7 If you present a sheep as your offering, you shall bring it before the Lord(P) 8 and lay your hand on the head of the offering. It shall be slaughtered before the tent of meeting, and Aaron’s sons shall dash its blood against all sides of the altar.(Q) 9 You shall present its fat from the sacrifice of well-being, as an offering by fire[i] to the Lord: the whole fatty tail, which shall be removed close to the backbone, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is around the entrails, 10 the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the appendage of the liver, which you shall remove with the kidneys.(R) 11 Then the priest shall turn these into smoke on the altar as a food offering by fire[j] to the Lord.(S)
12 “If your offering is a goat, you shall bring it before the Lord 13 and lay your hand on its head; it shall be slaughtered before the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aaron shall dash its blood against all sides of the altar. 14 You shall present as your offering from it, as an offering by fire[k] to the Lord, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is around the entrails, 15 the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the appendage of the liver, which you shall remove with the kidneys. 16 Then the priest shall turn these into smoke on the altar as a food offering by fire[l] for a pleasing odor.
“All fat is the Lord’s.(T) 17 It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations, in all your settlements: you must not eat any fat or any blood.”(U)

The Grain Offering
2 “‘When anyone brings a grain offering(A) to the Lord, their offering is to be of the finest flour.(B) They are to pour olive oil(C) on it,(D) put incense on it(E) 2 and take it to Aaron’s sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the flour(F) and oil, together with all the incense,(G) and burn this as a memorial[a] portion(H) on the altar, a food offering,(I) an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(J) 3 The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons;(K) it is a most holy(L) part of the food offerings presented to the Lord.
4 “‘If you bring a grain offering baked in an oven,(M) it is to consist of the finest flour: either thick loaves made without yeast and with olive oil mixed in or thin loaves(N) made without yeast and brushed with olive oil.(O) 5 If your grain offering is prepared on a griddle,(P) it is to be made of the finest flour mixed with oil, and without yeast. 6 Crumble it and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering. 7 If your grain offering is cooked in a pan,(Q) it is to be made of the finest flour and some olive oil. 8 Bring the grain offering made of these things to the Lord; present it to the priest, who shall take it to the altar. 9 He shall take out the memorial portion(R) from the grain offering and burn it on the altar as a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(S) 10 The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons;(T) it is a most holy part of the food offerings presented to the Lord.(U)
11 “‘Every grain offering you bring to the Lord must be made without yeast,(V) for you are not to burn any yeast or honey in a food offering presented to the Lord. 12 You may bring them to the Lord as an offering of the firstfruits,(W) but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma. 13 Season all your grain offerings with salt.(X) Do not leave the salt of the covenant(Y) of your God out of your grain offerings; add salt to all your offerings.
14 “‘If you bring a grain offering of firstfruits(Z) to the Lord, offer crushed heads of new grain roasted in the fire. 15 Put oil and incense(AA) on it; it is a grain offering. 16 The priest shall burn the memorial portion(AB) of the crushed grain and the oil, together with all the incense,(AC) as a food offering presented to the Lord.(AD)
The Fellowship Offering
3 “‘If your offering is a fellowship offering,(AE) and you offer an animal from the herd, whether male or female, you are to present before the Lord an animal without defect.(AF) 2 You are to lay your hand on the head(AG) of your offering and slaughter it(AH) at the entrance to the tent of meeting.(AI) Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash(AJ) the blood against the sides(AK) of the altar.(AL) 3 From the fellowship offering you are to bring a food offering to the Lord: the internal organs(AM) and all the fat(AN) that is connected to them, 4 both kidneys(AO) with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys. 5 Then Aaron’s sons(AP) are to burn it on the altar(AQ) on top of the burnt offering(AR) that is lying on the burning wood;(AS) it is a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(AT)
6 “‘If you offer an animal from the flock as a fellowship offering(AU) to the Lord, you are to offer a male or female without defect. 7 If you offer a lamb,(AV) you are to present it before the Lord,(AW) 8 lay your hand on its head and slaughter it(AX) in front of the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar. 9 From the fellowship offering you are to bring a food offering(AY) to the Lord: its fat, the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone, the internal organs and all the fat that is connected to them, 10 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys. 11 The priest shall burn them on the altar(AZ) as a food offering(BA) presented to the Lord.(BB)
12 “‘If your offering is a goat,(BC) you are to present it before the Lord, 13 lay your hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall splash(BD) its blood against the sides of the altar.(BE) 14 From what you offer you are to present this food offering to the Lord: the internal organs and all the fat that is connected to them, 15 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys.(BF) 16 The priest shall burn them on the altar(BG) as a food offering,(BH) a pleasing aroma.(BI) All the fat(BJ) is the Lord’s.(BK)
17 “‘This is a lasting ordinance(BL) for the generations to come,(BM) wherever you live:(BN) You must not eat any fat or any blood.(BO)’”
