Passover and Unleavened Bread

“These are the appointed feasts of the Lord, the holy convocations, which you shall proclaim at the time appointed for them. In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening,[a] is the Lord’s passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread to the Lord; seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work. But you shall present an offering by fire to the Lord seven days; on the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work.”

The Offering of First Fruits

And the Lord said to Moses, 10 “Say to the people of Israel, When you come into the land which I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest; 11 and he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, that you may find acceptance; on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

The Passover and the Festival of Unleavened Bread(A)

“‘These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times:(B) The Lord’s Passover(C) begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month.(D) On the fifteenth day of that month the Lord’s Festival of Unleavened Bread(E) begins; for seven days(F) you must eat bread made without yeast. On the first day hold a sacred assembly(G) and do no regular work. For seven days present a food offering to the Lord.(H) And on the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.’”

Offering the Firstfruits

The Lord said to Moses, 10 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land I am going to give you(I) and you reap its harvest,(J) bring to the priest a sheaf(K) of the first grain you harvest.(L) 11 He is to wave the sheaf before the Lord(M) so it will be accepted(N) on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath.

15 “And you shall count from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven full weeks shall they be, 16 counting fifty days to the morrow after the seventh sabbath; then you shall present a cereal offering of new grain to the Lord.
