⁴⁷Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

⁴⁷Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”

⁴⁷He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

⁴⁷Whoever belongs to God hears what God says.^(A) The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”
