31 Poi prese con sé i dodici e disse loro: «Ecco, noi saliamo a Gerusalemme, e tutte le cose scritte dai profeti riguardo al Figlio dell'uomo si compiranno.
32 Egli infatti sarà consegnato in mano dei gentili, sarà schernito e oltraggiato e gli sarà sputato addosso.
33 E, dopo averlo flagellato, lo uccideranno; ma il terzo giorno risusciterà».

Jesus Predicts His Death a Third Time(A)
31 Jesus took the Twelve aside and told them, “We are going up to Jerusalem,(B) and everything that is written by the prophets(C) about the Son of Man(D) will be fulfilled. 32 He will be delivered over to the Gentiles.(E) They will mock him, insult him and spit on him; 33 they will flog him(F) and kill him.(G) On the third day(H) he will rise again.”(I)

32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:
33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
