²³And someone said to him, “Lord, ^(A)will those who are saved be few?” And he said to them,

²³Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?”

He said to them,

²³Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,

²⁴^(A)“Strive ^(B)to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.

²⁴“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door,^(A) because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.

²⁴Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
