18 Thus then exhorting with many other things, he preached unto the people.
19 (A)[a]But when Herod the Tetrarch was rebuked of him, for Herodias his brother Philip’s wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done,
20 He added yet this above all, that he shut up John in prison.

19 But when John rebuked Herod(A) the tetrarch because of his marriage to Herodias, his brother’s wife, and all the other evil things he had done, 20 Herod added this to them all: He locked John up in prison.(B)
