41 ¶ (A)[a]And behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was the ruler of the Synagogue, who fell down at Jesus’ feet, and besought him that he would come into his house.
42 For he had but a daughter only, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying (and as he went, the people thronged him.
43 And a woman having an issue of blood, twelve years long, which had spent all her [b]substance upon physicians, and could not be healed of any:

41 Then a man named Jairus, a synagogue leader,(A) came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with him to come to his house 42 because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying.
As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. 43 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding(B) for twelve years,[a] but no one could heal her.
