47 But Jesus, knowing the reasoning of their heart, having taken-hold-of a child, stood him[a] beside Himself, 48 and said to them, “Whoever welcomes this child on the basis of My name, welcomes Me. And whoever welcomes Me, welcomes the One having sent Me forth. For the one being least among you all, this one is great[b]”. 49 And having responded, John said, “Master, we saw someone casting-out demons in Your name. And we were forbidding him because he is not following with us”.

47 Jesus, knowing their thoughts,(A) took a little child and had him stand beside him. 48 Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.(B) For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.”(C)
49 “Master,”(D) said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we tried to stop him, because he is not one of us.”
