10 Have you not even read this Scripture:
(A)‘The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
11 This was the Lord’s doing,
And it is marvelous in our eyes’?”
12 (B)And they sought to lay hands on Him, but feared the multitude, for they knew He had spoken the parable against them. So they left Him and went away.

10 Haven’t you read this passage of Scripture:
“‘The stone the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;(A)
11 the Lord has done this,
and it is marvelous in our eyes’[a]?”(B)
12 Then the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders looked for a way to arrest him because they knew he had spoken the parable against them. But they were afraid of the crowd;(C) so they left him and went away.(D)
