Mark 6:50-52
Common English Bible
50 Seeing him was terrifying to all of them. Just then he spoke to them, “Be encouraged! It’s me. Don’t be afraid.” 51 He got into the boat, and the wind settled down. His disciples were so baffled they were beside themselves. 52 That’s because they hadn’t understood about the loaves. Their minds had been closed so that they resisted God’s ways.

50 because they all saw him and were terrified.
Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”(A) 51 Then he climbed into the boat(B) with them, and the wind died down.(C) They were completely amazed, 52 for they had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened.(D)
