33 But turning around and looking at His disciples, He rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind Me, Satan,(A) because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns,[a] but man’s!”
Take Up Your Cross
34 Summoning the crowd along with His disciples, He said to them, “If anyone wants to be My follower, he must deny himself,(B) take up his cross,(C) and follow Me.(D) 35 For whoever wants to save(E) his life will lose it,(F) but whoever loses(G) his life(H) because of Me(I) and the gospel(J) will save it.(K)

Mark 8:33-35
New International Version
33 But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter. “Get behind me, Satan!”(A) he said. “You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
The Way of the Cross
34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.(B) 35 For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.(C)
